This song came about when Nemiss brought in Chesney Snow to the studio to add some extra kick to some tracks we were working on. After we laid down a couple of tracks….. we were all vibin in the studio and though it would be dope if we did a track with just Nemiss rhyming over Chesney’s vocal production …. just deliver it raw.
The result is this vocal barrage that make you think back to the early days of hip hop, but I feel the song manages to stay current with Nemiss’ lyrical references. This is what I hope will be the beginning of many impromptu studio recordings that I call “LUV Dubplates”. Give me some feedback and let me know what you think.
